Edward I. Levicoff

Mr. Levicoff is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, after attending Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois for his undergraduate education. While in law school, Mr. Levicoff served as the Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law School’s Journal of Law and Commerce, and he graduated cum laude from the School of Law with a Certificate in civil litigation. In addition to interning at a local law firm in the summer of 2001, Mr. Levicoff clerked at The Levicoff Law Firm, P.C. throughout high school, college, and law school, and officially joined the firm as an attorney in the summer of 2005. He has since been admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of West Virginia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, and Federal Circuits, the United States District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Levicoff practices in a number of different areas, including but not limited to personal injury litigation, products liability, insurance defense, insurance coverage, professional liability, contract disputes, environmental law, aviation litigation, landlord-tenant matters, commercial disputes, and employment and discrimination litigation. He has successfully tried a number of cases to verdict, and takes pride in handling his clients' cases practically and efficiently.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES

  • Successfully defended company against Environmental Protection Agency’s CERCLA action seeking in excess of $9 Million, and obtained reimbursement of client's attorneys' fees

  • Successfully defended company in False Claims Act litigation brought by U.S. Department of Justice

  • Recently recovered $795,000 settlements for two clients injured in auto accidents

  • Won directed verdict at trial of bodily injury case arising out of construction zone accident

  • Won $215,000 jury verdict in favor of accounting practice in commercial dispute, plus reimbursement of attorneys' fees
